Yield: Makes about 2 1/2 cups/600 mL
This marinade is loaded with flavors perfect for making fajitas. Though you can use any meat you want to, marinate beef the longest, poultry for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and fish and seafood under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
• 1 12-ounce/350 mL beer
• 1/3 cup/80 mL vegetable oil
• 1 small onion finely chopped
• juice of two limes
• 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon/15 mL Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon/15 mL chili powder
• 2 1/2 teaspoons/13 mL cumin powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons/7 mL sea salt
• 1 teaspoon/5 mL black pepper
• 1 teaspoon/5 mL hot pepper sauce
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container in fridge for no more than one week after preparation.
