This light and easy marinade recipe uses the power of lemon juice to help tenderize and flavor meats. This marinade is particularly good on poultry like rotisserie chicken.
Ingredients:
• 1/3 cup/80 mL lemon juice
• 1/4 cup/60 mL vegetable oil
• 1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL black peppercorns, cracked
• 2 tablespoons/30 mL mL cup water
• 2 teaspoons/10 mL fresh dill, chopped
• 1 teaspoon/5 mL salt
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients and mix well and use immediately. Makes about 1/2 cup.
Marinate chicken for 1-4 hours in mixture.
