    Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

    The tangy taste of buttermilk makes for a delicious and healthier version of a ranch-style salad dressing. Our easy Buttermilk Ranch Dressing fits a diabetes diet, so go ahead and enjoy it.

    What You'll Need:
    • 3/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
    • 1/2 cup reduced-fat buttermilk (see Note)
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

    What To Do:
    1. In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Chill until ready to use.


    Notes:
    You can make your own buttermilk by mixing 1 cup milk with 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar. Let it stand about 10 minutes before using.
