    List of Ingredients




    Chicken:
    about 1 1/2 qt water
    1/2 Chicken (Breast and leg quarter)
    2 T. Salt
    2 t. Pepper
    1/8 c. Minced dry onions
    1 t. minced garlic
    10 baby carrots
    dumplings:
    2 c. flour sifted
    1 1/4 t. baking powder
    3/4 t. salt
    2 T. butter
    3/4 c. milk (about)
    1/2 t. black pepper (optional)

    Recipe



    Boil chicken, salt, pepper, onions, and garlic together in water until chicken is done. Set aside and allow to cool, then debone chicken and add back to broth. Add carrots to broth also.
    Add all powdered ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add butter, cut into flour mixture with a pastry blender until fully incorporated. Add milk gradually, mixing it in until you get a stiff batter. You may not need all of the milk. Turn out onto floured board or countertop. Roll out to 1/2" thick. Cut into small squares or to make noodles cut into strips. Drop into broth from cooked chicken, cook for 20-30 mins.
