Egg Bread

List of Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups medium meal (Hoover)
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 3 Tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven and greased pan to 425 degrees.
- Beat eggs. Add buttermilk, oil, and salt.
- Add meal slowly (2-2 1/2 cups). Beat until smooth.
- Dissolve soda in spoon of cold water and add. Add baking powder last.
- Bake at 425.
- Let cool for eggbread.
Final Comments
I usually double the recipe.
