Great poundcake.
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter, softened
- 1/2 cup butter-flavored Crisco
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups White Lily all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon each almond and vanilla flavoring
Instructions
- Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.
- Mix baking powder with flour.
- Add flour and milk a little at a time. Alternate ending with flour.
- Add flavoring and mix well.
- Spray large tube pan with Pam and sprinkle with flour.
- Pour batter in pan.
- Pur in a COLD oven at 325 degrees for 90 minutes.
