List of Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa - scant
- 4 Tablespoons white Karo syrup
- 2 cups milk
- pinch salt
- Later
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 large marshnellows
- 1 1/2 cups nuts
Instructions
- Cook sugar, cocoa, Karo, milk, and pinch of salt to hard ball stage.
- Set pan in cold water to cool.
- Add 1 stick butter or oleo, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 6 large marshmellows.
- Beat until loses its glaze.
- Add 1 1/2 cups broken nuts if desired.
- Pour on greased (butter) sheet pan. Cut into squares when cool.
