Glazed Nuts

List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup pecan halves or raw peanuts or raw cashews
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a heavy skillet combine nuts, sugar, and butter or margarine.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with wooden spoon, for 6 to 8 minutes or until sugar is melted and golden in color and nuts are toasted.
- Spread nuts on a buttered, foil-lined baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle lightly with salt.
- Cool. Separate into clusters.
