    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup warm water (105-125 F) use thermometer to check
    • 2 pkg. active dry yeast (NOT fast-acting)
    • 1 stick of butter melted
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 teas. salt
    • 4-41/2 cups unbleached flour


    Instructions


    1. Combine warm water and yeast in large bowl and stand until foamy, about 5 minutes
    2. Stir in butter,sugar,eggs and salt.
    3. Beat in flour 1 cup at a time until too stiff to mix.
    4. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or up to 4 days.
    5. Grease a 13x9 inch pant. Turn chilled dough out onto a lightly floured board. Divide dough into 24 equal pieces.
    6. Roll each piece into a smooth round ball; place balls in even rows in the pan.
    7. Cover and let dough rise until doubled in volume, about an hour.
    8. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15-20 nimutes until goldne brown. Brush warm rolls with melted butter.


    Final Comments


    This dough requires no kneading and can be make up to 4 days ahead before baking. Makes 2 Dozen rolls.
