    I always loved having breakfast at Wendy's just to have biscuits and gravy. There was always a crowd at breakfast. No one seemed to know the exact way she cooked it because it was never written down, so this is as close as I can remember she may have made it.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound of ground beef or sausage
    • 2 Tbls. finely chopped onion
    • 6 Tbls. flour
    • 1 quart milk
    • 1/2 teas. Tony's seasoning
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • Dash hot pepper sauce
    • Dash of Worcestershire sauce


    Instructions


    1. Crumble meat into a large saucepan; cook over medium heat.
    2. Add onion; cook and stir until transparent.
    3. Drain all but 2 Tbls. of drippings.
    4. Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 6 minutes or until bubbles and turns golden.
    5. Stir in milk, add seasonings.
    6. Cook stirring, until thickened.
    7. Serve over sliced Angel biscuits or your favorite style of biscuits.


    Final Comments


    yeild 4-6 servings.
