Biscuits and Gravy

Recipe Introduction
I always loved having breakfast at Wendy's just to have biscuits and gravy. There was always a crowd at breakfast. No one seemed to know the exact way she cooked it because it was never written down, so this is as close as I can remember she may have made it.
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef or sausage
- 2 Tbls. finely chopped onion
- 6 Tbls. flour
- 1 quart milk
- 1/2 teas. Tony's seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- Dash hot pepper sauce
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Crumble meat into a large saucepan; cook over medium heat.
- Add onion; cook and stir until transparent.
- Drain all but 2 Tbls. of drippings.
- Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 6 minutes or until bubbles and turns golden.
- Stir in milk, add seasonings.
- Cook stirring, until thickened.
- Serve over sliced Angel biscuits or your favorite style of biscuits.
Final Comments
yeild 4-6 servings.
