    From the Heritage Cook Book of the First Babtist Church, DeQuincy LA. 1974


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 Milky Way Bars
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 2 1/2 cups flour
    • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    • 2 sticks butter
    • 4 eggs
    • 1/2 teas. soda
    • 1 cup chopped nuts


    Instructions


    1. Melt Candy bars and 1 stick of butter, set aside.
    2. Cream sugar and 1 stick of butter.
    3. Add eggs alternately with flour.
    4. Add pecans.
    5. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.


    Final Comments


    Cake can also be baked in 3 layers
