    Cheese Bread Pudding

    Recipe Introduction


    Excellent for brunch. Can be put together the day before and put in fridge until ready to bake.


    List of Ingredients


    • 10 slices of bread without crust
    • 2 1/2 cups. grated sharp cheese
    • 5 eggs
    • 3 1/2 cups milk
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 cup chopped turkey or ham (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Cut off crusts and butter one side of slices.
    2. Cut into 1/4" slices.
    3. Place half of bread on bottom of greased 11X7" pan.
    4. Sprinkle with half of cheese.
    5. Cover with rest of bread and top with cheese.
    6. Beat eggs and stir in milk. Pour over bread.
    7. Let stand at least 1 hour or overnight.
    8. Bake 50 minutes at 325 degree oven until puffy and nicely browned.
