Cheese Bread Pudding

Recipe Introduction
Excellent for brunch. Can be put together the day before and put in fridge until ready to bake.
List of Ingredients
- 10 slices of bread without crust
- 2 1/2 cups. grated sharp cheese
- 5 eggs
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup chopped turkey or ham (optional)
Instructions
- Cut off crusts and butter one side of slices.
- Cut into 1/4" slices.
- Place half of bread on bottom of greased 11X7" pan.
- Sprinkle with half of cheese.
- Cover with rest of bread and top with cheese.
- Beat eggs and stir in milk. Pour over bread.
- Let stand at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake 50 minutes at 325 degree oven until puffy and nicely browned.
