List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, pite sized pieces
- 1-2 cooking oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet and brown chicken pieces
- Remove chicken and add remaining ingredients, heating over medium heat untuk well combined and dissolved
- Add chicken pack to pand and bring to a hard boil
- REduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes
- Serve over steamed rice
Final Comments
*Chicken breasts can be substituted for various chicken cuts, just adjust cooking time until thoroughly cooked
