POPPY SEED SOUR CREAM CAKE

Such a good top on this cake. It's usually broken when it comes from the oven. The flavors meld together so well. An excellent gift!
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons lemon flavor (may substitute butter flavor)
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, moxing well after each.
- Mix in flour and soda.
- Add remaining ingrediennts and mix well.
- Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350 degrees until done.......about 1 1/2 hours.
