Chili
This chili is very mild, for those like me, that do not like their food too spicy
List of Ingredients
- 1 ) pound of lean ground beef
- 2 ) 14 ounce cans of tomatoes
- 2 ) 8 ounce cans of tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 ) 16 ounce can dark red kidney beans
- 2 )med onions diced
- 2 ) med green peppers diced
Instructions
- brown and drain ground beef
- add tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, red pepper
in a medium size pan
- add the ground beef
- add diced onions, diced green peppers
- Let simmer for 2 to 3 hours
- add the dark red kidney beans just before serving to heat through
Final Comments
This chili can also be placed in a crockpot to simmer all day. Makes 4 servings
