    Beef Cabbage Stir Fry

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups shredded cabbage
    • 2 tblsp. canola oil
    • 1 lb. beef sirloin steak, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
    • 2 onions, thinly sliced, seperated into rings
    • 3 celery ribs, sliced
    • 1 can bean sprouts, drained
    • 1 ( 8 oz.) can bamboo shoots, drained
    • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    • 2 tblsp. sugar
    • 1/2 cup beef broth
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • Hot cooked rice


    Instructions


    1. In large skillet, stir fry cabbage in oil until begins to soften, add beef, cook and stir 3 minutes. Add onions, and celery. Stir fry 2-3 minutes or until crisp tender. Add bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts. In small bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, broth and soy sauce until smooth. Stir into beef mixture. Bring to a boil, cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened and vegetables are tender. 8 servings
