Crispy Chicken Wontons

- 3 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 1/4 cup finely chopped water chestnuts
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tblsp. water
- 1 tblsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 pkg. 16 oz. wonton wrappers
- 2 tblsp. margarine
- 1 tblsp. vegetable oil
Instructions
- Combine chicken, carrots, water chestnuts. In another bowl combine cornstarch, water, soy sauce and ginger until smooth. Add to chicken, toss to coat. Spoon 1 tsp. filling into center of wonton. Moisten edges with water, pinch to seal. Put on greased sheet. Combine margarine and oil. Brush tops. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
