    • 1 lb ground chuck
    • 1/4 onion, chopped
    • 2 carrots, sliced
    • 6 potatoes, boiled and mashed
    • 1 jar brown gravy
    • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground chuck and onions, drain, set aside. In pan cook carrots. Prepare potatoes, cook, and mash. Add gravy to ground beef, along with carrots. Cover and simmer on medium heat for a few minutes until thickened. Place beef mixture into a casserole dish and cover with mashed potatoes. Drag a fork over the top of potatoes. Cook at 350 degrees. Bake until a golden brown. Add cheese the last few minutes of baking.


    Final Comments


    Can also add peas, green beans, and corn.
