List of Ingredients
Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
4 carrots peeled and cut as you wish
2 small chuck roasts
1/2 cup holland house red wine
1 can beef broth
1 dash worchestire sauce(sp?)
1 dash or two of soy sauce
little bit of salt and pepper
onion sliced
garlic
LATER on stove with gravy
3 tbs cornstarch
2 tbs wine
tops of green onions for color* i had a
fresh onion with top on it still from the farmer's market
i got it in canton ny. so i just added few
little slices of it .Recipe
how I made this with my versaware pot, i also used my paella pan or
you can use a fry pan to sautee i know i could of done this step in
the versaware but I didn't really have time or what not for it. I
sauteed the onions and garlic in olive oil and a little bit of
butter, added them to the bottom of the crockpot pot, i then took
the beef in the same pan sauteed til brown on each side only put
that into the crockpot . then added the remaining ingredients the
wine, broth, and worchestire suace. soy ,salt pepper to taste . I
cooked it on High for 6 hours. . after the 6th hour . Okay this next
step before placing it on the stove, you remove the beef and carrots
leave the mushrooms and onions or what not in the sauce, I then I
removed the pot from the base and placed it on the heat diffuser on
my electric stove on medium high at first then down to low iadded
bout 3 tablespoons of corn starch and put stove on simmer til
thickenedI tasted it found out for my taste buds i needed alittle
more red wine,and some more salt you taste it adjust according to
you. served over instant mashed potatoes.
