    Layered Bean Dip

    Source of Recipe

    Julie Hansen (my cousin)

    Recipe Introduction

"This dish is always requested at all get togethers with our friends. One time I made it for a company picnic and there ended up being like 3 others there too... mine was the only one that was completely gone in the end, the others were only about 1/2 gone."

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 cans Frito Lay Bean Dip
    • 1 package shredded Mexican or Taco Cheese Blend (2 cups)
    • 1 tub sourcream (I will guess 16oz -- not the little one but not the big one)
    • 1 jar Salsa (24oz jar) -- I like to use Pace Picante
    • tomatoes (about 2 or 3)
    • 1 small can sliced olives
    • cilantro
    • Green onion
    • 1 packet taco seasoning (the secret ingredient!)
    • chips to serve with (I like tortilla chips)

    Instructions

    1. I like to do all my prep first. Dice your tomatoes, cilantro and green onion. I usually run my knife over the olives to give em a quick chop up. In a small bowl mix the taco seasoning with the bean dip.

    2. In a 9x13 pan layer... spreading evenly of course...
      Bean dip mixture
      Sourcream
about 1/2 to 3/4 (or however much you want) jar of Salsa
      Cheese
      tomatoes
      olives
      onions
      cilantro
