Ashley's White Chili

List of Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter{real butter}
- 1 clove garlic finally chopped or 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 4 cups cooked chicken cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbls.chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 to 3 tsps.ground red chili or chili powder
- 1/4 tsp.ground cloves
- 2-16 oz. cans Great Northern Beans-undrained
- add cumin , salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Put butter and garlic in bowl-- microwave until butter is melted.
- Once melted,add remaining ingredients to bowl.
- Microwave for additional 10 minutes,stirring occasionaly.
- DO NOT ADD BEANS YET !!!!!
- Remove from Microwave and add beans and other ingredients to crock pot.
- Cook for approx.8 hrs.on low to thicken chili.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and white tortilla chips.
Final Comments
I got this from my granddaughter who got it from a friend.Delicious and filling.Great on cold winter nights.
