    SPAGHETTI PIE

    List of Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    6 oz spaghetti
    2 eggs – beaten
    2 Tlbs butter
    1/3 cup chopped onion
    1 lb Italian sausage
    1 cup sour cream
    1 6 oz can tomato paste
    1 cup water
    4 oz Mozzarella cheese slices
    Parmesan cheese

    Recipe

    Directions:

    Break spaghetti in half, cook in boiling water until done. While still warm, combine spaghetti with eggs and Parmesan cheese. Pour into a buttered 10” pie pan and pat mixture up and around the sides with a spoon. Melt butter in a skillet, add onion and sautee until soft. Stir in sour cream and spoon over spaghetti. Remove sausage from casing (can use bulk if desired), crumble and cook in skillet until done. Drain. Add tomato paste and water. Simmer 10 minutes. Spoon sausage mixture on top of sour cream/spaghetti mixture.

    Bake, covered at 350 for 25 minutes
    Arrange Mozzarella cheese on top and return to over until cheese melts.
