    Source of Recipe

    the web

    List of Ingredients

    * 12 slices Canadian bacon cut 1/8-inch thick (about 6 ounces)
    * 1 sheet frozen puff pastry dough, thawed
    * 2 tablespoons coarse Dijon mustard

    Recipe

Place puff pastry dough on plastic wrap; roll into 11-by-12-inch rectangle. Spread mustard evenly over dough. Arrange Canadian bacon slices evenly over the mustard. Roll up from long end of rectangle (jelly roll fashion) just to the middle of the dough; roll up the opposite side in the same fashion, forming two rolls that meet in the center. Squeeze seam of both rolls together.

Cut the roll crosswise into half-inch slices. Place the slices about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet and press lightly to flatten. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, until baked.

Makes 24 appetizers. Appetizers can be frozen on the cookie sheet or kept in refrigerator for baking the next day.
