24 (6") wooden skewers
1/2c. chili sauce
1tbs. Worcestershire sauce
2tsp. hot pepper sauce
24 chicken tenders (about 2lbs.)
8oz. blue cheese salad dressing
1/2c. finely chopped celery
2tbs. finely chopped onionRecipe
To help prevent skewers from burning, soak skewers in water 20 min. before adding chicken.
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" strips, may be substituted for tenders.Preheat oven to 400º. In med. bowl, combine sauces. Thread each chicken tender onto skewer, leaving 1" at each end. Arrange skewers in greased 15x10" jellyroll pan. Brush chicken w/ half the sauce mixture. Bake 10 min. Turn skewers over. Brush chicken w/ remaining sauce mixture. Bake 10 min. longer or till chicken is no longer pink in center. Meanwhile, prepare dipping sauce by combining dressing, celery, and onion. Serve w/ chicken. Yield 24 appetizers
