Manhattan Meatballs

List of Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
3 c. soft bread crumbs
3 eggs
1/2 c. instant minced onion
1 T. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 1/2 t. Worcestershire
3 T. chopped parsley
1/2 c. milk
Recipe
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into 3/4-inch meatballs. Place on ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake in a 350 deg. oven 30 min. or until done. To freeze, cool meatballs about 5 min. Place in freezer 15 min. Pack 1/3 partially frozen meatballs in each of three freezer containers or heavy plastic bags. Label, date and place in freezer.

2/3 recipe Make-Ahead Meatballs
1 jar (10 oz.) apricot preserves
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
Place meatballs in baking dish. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce and pour over meatballs. Bake in a 350 deg. oven 45-50 min. if meatballs are frozen, 30 min. if thawed.
For appetizers: serve with toothpicks.
Or can be served as the main dish.
Makes 10-12 servings.
