Misdameanor Criminally Good Spinach Dip

1 10oz box frozen chopped spinach
1 16oz tub of sour cream
1 8oz block of cream cheese
1 envelope of dry vegetable soup mix-Lipton or Knoor
8 oz fresh cooked coctail size shrimp canned will work but not as good Recipe
Thaw the spinach, drain and squeeze it out real good. Set aside. Rinse and drain the shrimp, set aside also. In a food processor blend the sourcream and cream cheese together till smooth. If ya don't have a food processor Pump up that muscle and whip it baby!! When it's smooth, stir in BY HAND the soup mix, then the spinach and shrimp. Put in the reefer for at at least 3 hours so the vegs'in the soup get soft. This dip is good on everything, we usually smear it on Ritz's or similar. But use your imagination. The spinach dip you see in delis' pretty tasteless compared to this. I added the shrimp,soup mix and cheese. You can add other spices like cayene pepper or crushed red pepper flakes if you like it spicy. Or add crushed fresh garlic. This has become a holiday favorite at my house.
