Smoked Turkey and Corn Fritters

1 (15.25-oz.) can corn
1 cup smoked turkey
1 large egg
1 (4-oz.) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 (1 lb.) jar ORTEGA® Salsa Prima Homestyle Mild
Recipe
COMBINE corn, turkey, egg, chiles, milk, butter and hot pepper sauce in medium bowl. Combine flour and baking powder in small bowl; add to corn mixture. Stir just until combined.
HEAT 2 inches of oil to 375°F in a large, heavy-duty skillet. Drop ¼ cup of batter into oil and fry for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and golden brown. Drain; serve with Picante Sauce.
