    1 cup chopped lox or nova (salmon)
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup chopped ripe tomatoes
    1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced small
    1/4 cup capers
    1/4 cup chopped basil
    2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
    1 cup olive oil
    1 loaf French bread, Italian bread, or baguettes

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients, except bread; season to taste. Marinate for several hours, mixing occasionally (overnight is better).
    Slice entire loaf of bread length-wise and toast both halves under the broiler. After toasting, slice bread into 2-inch slices. Spread the bruschetta mixture on the individual slices.
