½ teaspoon Fresh Herbs
(such as basil, oregano, thyme)
1 very small Onion
1 small Carrot
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 small Potato
3 tablespoons Sweetcorn Kernels
(canned (unsalted) or frozen)
90 ml WaterRecipe
This recipe is suitable from 7 months.
1) Peel and finely chop the onion and carrot. eel and chop the potato, and chop the herbs. Heat the oil in a small pan over medium heat. Lightly fry the onion and carrot until soft, about 5 minutes. Put half of this mixture in a bowl and set to one side.
2) Add the water, potato and sweetcorn to the pan and stir to mix. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
3) Add the herbs, then puree or roughly mash the mixture before adding the reserved vegetables. Add extra water if a thinner consistency is preferred.
