    List of Ingredients




    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    4 slices sugar-cured ham, about 4 oz
    4 slices mozzarella cheese, about 4 oz

    Chicken Marinade:
    1/2 cup soy bean oil
    3/4 cup white wine
    1/2 cup onion, diced
    1 tsp celery salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp thyme, fresh sprigs
    1 tsp rosemary, fresh sprigs
    1/2 tsp tarragon, fresh sprigs
    1 tsp salt

    Hickory Barbecue Sauce:
    1/2 cup chili sauce
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp onion, dehydrated
    1 Tbsp honey
    1/2 Tbsp mesquite seasoning
    1/2 cup barbecue sauce, hickory-flavored if available

    Chicken Marinade:
    Combine all ingredients and blend well.

    Hickory Barbecue Sauce:
    Combine all ingredients and blend well.
    Marinate chicken breasts in chicken marinade for 24 hours.

    Remove chicken from marinade and grill on a charcoal grill until cooked (about 5 minutes on each side). Brush with hickory barbecue sauce while cooking. After chicken breasts are cooked, but before removing them from grill, place a slice of ham and cheese on top of each piece of chicken. Continue cooking just long enough to warm ham and melt cheese.

    Serve hot
