Rib-eye Steaks Smothered in Mushrooms

List of Ingredients
4 rib-eye steaks
2 packages sliced mushrooms
3 green onions, finely chopped
Olive oil, as needed
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 pinch dried Italian seasonings
3 Tbsp. cooking sherry
2 Tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to tasteRecipe
Heat barbecue grill to high heat.
Season steaks with salt and pepper. Drizzle a little olive oil over the steaks. When the grill is hot, place steaks on the cooking surface. For medium rare, cook the steaks 8 minutes each, turning at 2-minute intervals.
On the stovetop, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and Italian seasonings; cook 2 minutes. Drizzle in about 2 Tbsp. olive oil and green onions; toss to combine. Add sherry, salt and pepper; toss to combine. Add butter; swirl to combine. Serve mushrooms over steaks.
