1 teaspoon chipotle chile powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 pound ground round
Nonstick cooking spray
4 kaiser rolls
11/2 cups Tequila-Spiked SalsaRecipe
Prepare grill.
• Combine chile powder, salt and beef. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each portion into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.
• Place patties on a grill rack coated with nonstick cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until done. Place rolls, cut sides down, on the grill rack. Grill 1 minute or until toasted. Place 1 patty on bottom half of each roll. Top each serving with 1/3 cup Tequila-Spiked Salsa and top half of roll.
Tequila-Spiked Salsa
(Makes 3 cups)
2 cups chopped, seeded tomato
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/3 cup chopped peeled avocado
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons tequila
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 garlic cloves, minced
• Combine all ingredients in a bowl, tossing gently.
