    “1-2-3 Quick Frosty Drinks - Delicious and Nutritious” by Rita Bingham, Natural Meals Publishing

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup low fat soy milk
    1/2 cup apple juice concentrate
    1/3 cup canned pumpkin
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1 dash nutmeg
    1/2 of a frozen banana
    6 ice cubes
    Optional addition:
    1/2 tablespoon rice protein powder
    11/2 teaspoons flaxseed oil
    1 tablespoon almonds
    1/4 teaspoon acidophilus powder


    Recipe



    Place soy milk (or your choice of any other milk or non-dairy substitute) and all remaining ingredients in blender in order given. (If adding protein powder, add first and blend with liquid.) Add one or two of the optional additions per serving.

    Blend until smooth and creamy. If desired, add nuts last for crunch.
