    Serves 8

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup chopped banana
    1/2 cup sour cream
    4 eggs
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    Zest of 1 lemon
    1 1/2 cups cake flour
    1 1/4 cups sugar
    1/2 tablespoon baking powder
    4 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
    1 cup chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a loaf pan. In a food processor,
    puree banana, sour cream, eggs, vanilla and lemon zest until smooth. Sift dry
    ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Add half the banana mixture and beat until
    smooth. Add remaining banana mixture and beat until smooth. Beat in the butter.
    Stir in the chips. Scrape into the pan. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, until the bread
    is golden brown and springs back when pressed with your finger.
