List of Ingredients




1 and a fourth cups V8 juice (vegetable juice)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 and a third tablespoons honey
1 and three-fourths teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon salt
3 and a third cups stone ground whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons yeast


Recipe



Remove bread pan from the bread machine and install mixing blade, making sure the mixing blade is securely attached.
In bowl, mix together basil, salt and flour; set aside. Add slightly beaten egg and honey to V8 juice. Put liquids into the machine bread pan. Add dry ingredients in bowl to the liquids in bread pan. Then put dry yeast on top of the dry ingredients away from the liquids.
Place the bread pan into the bread machine, making sure it is inserted properly; close lid, plug in bread machine and start machine. When baking has been completed, press the Stop button and remove the bread pan from the machine. Remove bread from pan, cool on wire rack.
