1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 c. sugar
1 large egg, well beaten
1 c. sour cream

Preheat your oven to 400F. Grease well a 9" square pan. Sift dry ingredients
together, set aside.
Mix the egg and sour cream together well in a medium bowl. Add the dry
ingredients to the sour
cream
mixture until just blended (don't over mix). Pour into prepared pan and bake for
18-20 mins. until
toothpick comes out clean.
Makes 9 3" squares.
