Recipe Introduction
A suet roly poly enclosing liver & bacon. Serve with floury boiled potatoes and gravy or brown sauce.
List of Ingredients
¾ lb or 340g lean bacon rashers
¾ lb or 340g sliced pigs liver
1lb or 450g savoury suet pastry
½ lb or 227g chopped onions
1tsp each of chopped sage & parsley

Roll the suet pastry out to a square, ¼ inch thick.
Lay bacon rashers on top, cover with liver and onions and season with sage, parsley and pepper.
Roll up the pastry, wrap and secure in a pudding cloth and boil for 2 ½ -3 hours.
