Lamb Burgers With Gooey Cheese Topping
Source of Recipe
Butlers Farmhouse
List of Ingredients
700g minced lamb
Small red onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp lemon thyme leaves
salt and freshly ground pepper
110g pot Butlers' Cheese Made Spreadable with Spring Onion
1-2 tbsp olive oil
6 burger buns
salad leaves
Recipe
Mix together the minced lamb, onion, garlic, thyme and plenty of seasoning. Divide the mixture into six even portions and shape into burgers. Cover and chill for up to 4 hours or until ready to serve.
Brush the burgers with a little olive oil and cook on a hot barbecue for 15 minutes, turning frequently - you will have to move the burgers towards the edge of the rack to ensure even cooking. Divide a pot of 'Butlers' Spreadable with Spring Onion' into six and put a dollop on top of each burger as they are taken from the barbecue - you'll find the Spreadable begins to melt and is deliciously gooey as it goes into the bap with a few salad leaves.
Top Tip: Try out 'Butlers Original Spreadable' or 'Butlers Spreadable with Mustard' on your burgers for additional variety. To add extra depth of flavour and tanginess to your coleslaw, mix in some 'Butlers Original Spreadable' and wait for the compliments to roll in!
