4 1/2 cups of flour, sifted
1 cup vegetable oil
500g mutton mince
4tsp Soya sauce
7oz stock
9oz cellophane noodles, boiled and chopped
2 spring onions, chopped
2 tsp freshh ginger, grated
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp five-spice powderRecipe
Mix the mutton with a little salt, the soya sauce and the stock.
Mix until into a paste, then add the noodles, spring onion, ginger, oil and five-spice and blend well. Divide into about 10 portions and leave to rest.
Meanwhile dissolve a little salt in 10 1/2 oz of water, and stir into your flour to make a dough. Knead well and leave to stand for a few minutes.
Roll the dough into a long roll and slice into 10 round pieces. Roll each piece out flat and add a portion of the filling to the centre and seal. Repeat until all of the dough and filling is used.
Fry in a little oil over a low to medium heat for approx 5 mins each side and drain on some kitchen paper and serve.
