Juice of 2 large oranges (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup superfine sugar
1 3/4 cups heavy (whipping) cream
Dash of Irish whiskey
Confectioners' sugar for dustingRecipe
Chill four 6-ounce stemmed glasses. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the orange juice and superfine sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 5-8 minutes, or until reduced by half. Add the cream and whiskey, return to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool completely. Spoon into the glasses and refrigerate for 8-10 hours, or until set. Dust the tops with confectioners' sugar.
