8 oz. suet
6 eggs
Pinch of salt
6 oz. lemon marmalade
8 oz. breadcrumbs
Grated rind of 2 lemons
4 oz. stoneless raisins
1 and 1/2 oz. rice or cornflour
6 oz. brown sugar Recipe
Butter a quart mould or basin thickly and ornament with raisins. Mix all the dry ingredients together, beat the eggs and add to the mixture. Pour into the basin carefully, tie up and boil for 1 and 1/2 hours. Serve with wine sauce.
