    List of Ingredients




    * 2 x 340g pkts Safeway 24 Pork Cocktail Sausages
    * 3tbsp Safeway Whole Grain Mustard
    * 2tbsp golden syrup
    * 175g (6oz) Safeway Plain Flour
    * 2 large free-range eggs
    * 300ml (1¼2pt) full-fat milk
    * 50g (2oz) lard
    * 4tbsp horseradish relish
    * 225g (8oz) mayonnaise

    Recipe



    1 Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/ gas mark 4. Put sausages in a roasting tin. Roast for 30 mins, then remove and drain liquid.
    2 Mix mustard and syrup in a bowl and use to coat sausages.
    Return to oven for a further 30 mins until golden. Allow to cool.
    3 Put flour in a bowl. Add eggs and whisk together, gradually adding milk to make a smooth batter. Allow to stand.
    4 Put lard into sections of 2 x 12 fairy cake tins. Heat until piping hot. Remove, put 2 sausages into each section and spoon batter on top. Return to oven for 10-15 mins until risen and golden.
    5 Mix relish and mayonnaise in a bowl. Serve with toad-in-the-holes.
