    Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.

    List of Ingredients




    1 stick margarine
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1 (7-oz.) pkg. coconut
    1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (14-oz.) can condensed milk
    1 (16-oz.) carton Cool Whip
    2 (9-inch) pie shells, baked according to pkg. instructions
    1 (12-oz.) jar caramel

    Recipe



    1. Melt margarine. Add pecans and coconut and cook gently over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is browned, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside to cool.

    2. Combine cream cheese and condensed milk. Blend well and then fold in Cool Whip.

    3. In each of the two pie shells, layer the cream cheese mixture, then the pecan and coconut mixture and finally the caramel.
