List of Ingredients
1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple
1 15 ounce can cherry pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans
1 15-ounce box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) margarineRecipe
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2. Pour the crushed pineapple, cherry pie filling, and pecans into a 9 X 13 inch pan.
3. Top with the box of yellow cake mix. DO not mix. Simply crumble the cake mix over the pineapple, cherries, and nuts.
4. Cut the margarine into thin pats and then dot over the entire cake mix. Do not stir.
4. Bake until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Cool.
6. Cut into squares and serve with whipped topping or ice cream.
