Milky Way Cake

List of Ingredients
4 Milky Way Bars (2.05 oz)
1 stick butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
¾ cup oil
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup pecans or walnuts
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
Recipe
Melt the candy bars and butter in a double boiler and let cool. *(See directions below to melt bars in the microwave) Combine sugar, oil, eggs and buttermilk. Mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine “wet” mixture with dry mixture. Beat for 2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla and cooled candy mixture. Mix until blended. Add nuts and blend. Coat tube pan or bundt pan with cooking spray. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
ICING:
2 Milky Way Bars
1 stick butter or margarine
2 tsp milk (regular)
½ box of confectioners powered sugar
Melt candy bars and butter in a double boiler. **(See directions below to use your microwave) Let cool then add the milk and powerded sugar. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth. Using a deep bowl will really cut down on splatter. Add more sugar for a thicker icing. Add more milk for a thinner icing. Drizzle over the completely cooled cake.

Put bars in a microwave safe dish and set microwave on a 4 minutes and half power (50%). Melt the butter separately. Add the melted butter to the melted candy bars and put back in microwave for 1 minute on high. Beat well with an electric mixer. Using a very deep bowl will really cut down on splatter.
