October Apple Pie

2 refrigerated pie crusts
6 cups thinly sliced apples
1 lemon juiced
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chilled diced butter
9 caramels quartered
1 tbsp sugar
Recipe
In a large bowl combine apples, lemon juice, sugars, spices, flour, butter, and carmel. Stir to coat evenly.
Place pie crust in pie plate. Spoon in filling. Top with remaining piecrust and crimp edges. Cut or poke holes in top. Sprinkle with tbps white sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. If over browning after about 30 minutes reduce heat to 350 degrees. Serve and enjoy.
