3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons Kentucky bourbon
1 cup pecan halves
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
9-inch unbaked pie crust
Recipe
Combine the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and bourbon in a bowl; stir well. Add the pecans and chocolate chips. Turn blended mixture into the unbaked pie shell. Place on a baking sheet preheated in a 350-degree oven. Bake 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Cool, cut and serve with bourbon-flavored whipped cream, if desired.
