* 2 16 oz. each pkgs. frozen green beans, partially thawed
* 4 chicken breasts, cooked and cut-up
* 1 1/2 C. mayonnaise
* 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
* 2 tsp. lemon juice
* 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
* 2 C. cheddar cheese, shredded
* 1/2 tsp. salt
* 3/4 tsp. pepper or to taste
* 3/4 tsp. garlic powder

In large casserole dish, layer green beans and chicken. Mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic. Spread over beans and chicken. Sprinkle water chestnuts evenly over top, then spread cheddar cheese on top of chestnuts. Bake uncovered in 350° oven for 45 minutes. Can be prepared and frozen until time to cook. Serve over rice. Yields: 6 servings
