Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy sauce pot on high heat. Add 2lbs. meat (tenderloin, flap meat, stew meat) Cook 3-4 minutes then add:
1 cup julienned red onions
4 cups mushrooms
1/4 cup dill
teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
SIMMER 3-4 MINUTES, Then add:
1 can Guinness Stout
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups brown gravy (Knorr Demi Glaze)
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 cup burgundy
BRING TO SIMMER, Then add:
1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch mixed with 4 tablespoons water
Let simmer for 5 minutes, then serve over egg noodles with a dollop of sour cream. YUM!
