List of Ingredients
1 lb Lean flank steak; ground
OR
1 lb Very lean ground meat
1/2 Onion; chopped
2 tb Beef stock
1/3 c Chopped red bell pepper
1/3 c Chopped green bell pepper
ds Pepper
1/4 ts Ground thyme
1/2 pt Tomato sauce
1 c Water
2/3 c Uncooked rice
Recipe
Sauté meat in a nonstick skillet until browned,
drain off fat and place meat in a bowl.
Sauté onion in stock or water until soft. Add
remaining ingredients except meat. Cover and
simmer until rice is tender, about 35 minutes.
